New Construction Inspection
We are experts in new construction. Each of our inspectors is certified by the ICC, the organization that actually writes the building codes used in the State of Georgia today. We live and breathe the building codes, and know how to apply them.
Some people are surprised to learn we find more items needing correction on a new home than we do on an existing home. It’s true. We find holes on the roof from temporary step boards used by the workers, hot and cold water reversed on bathroom faucets, missing insulation in attics, and other simple but important things that need to be corrected.
We recommend the house be checked two times during the process. First, after the walls are built, just before the drywall is installed, and then at the end just before the builder has his scheduled walk through with you. We find this 2 inspection program is the most cost effective way to help you be sure you get the house you expected.
Medallion Inspectors are Code Certified inspectors by the International Code Council. (ICC) - the organization that writes building codes used throughout Georgia today.
